Optimization of PI Controller Parameters by GWO Algorithm for Five-Phase Asynchronous Motor

Operation at low speed and high torque can lead to the generation of strong ripples in speed, which deteriorate system. To reduce oscillations when operating a five-phase asynchronous motor this article, we propose control method based on Gray Wolf optimization (GWO) algorithms adjust parameters proportional–integral (PI) controllers. Proportional–integral controllers are commonly used systems regulate current motor. The controller parameters, such as integral gain proportional gain, be adjusted improve performance. Specifically, reducing help speeds. is insensitive parametric variations; however, employ GWO strategy PI choose gains wisely, system becomes more reliable. obtained results show that hybrid induction (IM) offers performance permanent transient states.
